Pass Your Driving Theory Test contains around 1,000 questions which may appear in the UK test, and through a process of repetition and testing, will help you to remember the right answers. The program incorporates the n-e-learning system, an Artificial Intelligence engine which takes account of your answers and tailors the learning to your needs.
Register your user profile (several people can use the software, as each user will have a name and password) and create a session, then start learning the theory or take mock exams. You can take several sessions, each containing a chosen number of questions, a mock test or a particular topic. Each session can then be practised individually.
The learning is done through answering multiple choice questions, as in the real exam. You can choose to focus on particular topics, such as Motorway Rules or Alertness, or on all topics together. The program will then alternate between giving you the answers to questions, and randomly asking you to reply to the same questions. You can choose how many times to go through similar questions, to ensure that you memorise them correctly.
If you undertake a mock test, you must answer 35 questions in 39 minutes, after which you're told whether you passed or failed. Throughout the sessions, the program will remember your weak and strong points and help you progress at your own speed.
The learning and testing environments are comprised of text, which can be read out loud by rolling the mouse over it, and pictures and photographs that could appear in the UK test. It's an engaging mix of audio and visual that, with its high level of interaction, should help you succeed on the day.
After completing all the sessions and taking the mock tests, users should feel confident and well prepared. It's really just a case of remembering what you've read and seen, on such crucial topics as stopping distances and the meaning of road signs.
Note: This edition of the software will be current until June 2001. If you are taking your driving test after that date, you will need to refer to the n-e-learning website at http://www.n-e-learning.com, for updates on the test.
