E-commerce software provider ePages has launched the latest version of its offering for hosting providers and medium-sized businesses, designed to give smaller firms the same Web 2.0 functionality as their larger competitors at what the firm claims is a compelling price.
EPages 6.0, which is available through web agencies and service providers such as BT, now features easy to use drag-and-drop functionality which allows users to customise their site, according to ePages founder Wilfried Beeck.
The new offering also includes options for Web 2.0 functionality such as blogs, wikis, forums and user ratings, along with an online booking tool and integration with eBay and Google Maps.
"More and more sales are initiated on the internet but completed offline," said Beeck. "If you don't have a presence on the internet you cannot be found, and you cannot build relationships with your customers."
The product is available as ePages 6 Hosting for hosting providers, and ePages 6 Merchant for ePages partners working on e-commerce projects for medium-sized customer bases.
