OpenAccounts, the mid-range financial accounting software supplier, has taken advantage of Progress Software's ASPEN (Application Service Provider Enablement) Programme to launch OpenAccounts Online, an Internet-based application rental service. Rental prices are expected to start at £199 per set and will enable small to medium-sized organisations to gain high-level functionality without making up-front investment in IT infrastructure or incurring ongoing costs.
