Microsoft has launched a major campaign aimed at generating more customers for its Dynamics hosted customer relationship management (CRM) service.
The updated Dynamics CRM Online sports a number of new features, including faster performance, improved sales monitoring, a lower subscription price, a new contact management service and support for Microsoft Outlook and mobile devices.
"The new service update to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online demonstrates our commitment to simplify the customer experience, deliver rapid innovation and offer more value at a lower price," said Brad Wilson, general manager for Dynamics CRM.
Microsoft is also pushing a new migration tool to help lure customers away from other online CRM vendors, and is offering new customers six months' use of Dynamics CRM for free when they switch from equivalent Oracle and Salesforce products.
The company hopes that the update and accompanying campaign will help boost its position in an increasingly competitive market for online CRM services.
